Meet Our Dedicated Board of Directors

President — Janet leads the Board of Directors with a deep commitment to the older adults of Genesee County and beyond. Her steady guidance and passion for community service help shape the direction of the Forest Township Area Senior Center, ensuring it remains a welcoming and vibrant place for all members.

Vice President — Gary brings strong leadership and a collaborative spirit to his role as Vice President. He works closely with the President and fellow board members to support the center's programs and initiatives, advocating for the needs and interests of older adults throughout the region.

Secretary — Karen serves as the organizational backbone of the Board of Directors, carefully documenting meeting minutes  and ensuring all board communications are clear.  Karen's dedication behind the scenes plays a vital role in keeping the Forest Township Area Senior Center on track and moving forward.

Treasurer — Gordon oversees the financial health of the Forest Township Area Senior Center, managing budgets and resources with careful stewardship. His commitment to fiscal responsibility ensures the center can continue delivering meaningful programs and services to the community for years to come.

Trustee — Carol contributes a warm and engaged perspective to the board, championing programs that foster connection and lifelong learning. Her involvement reflects a heartfelt belief in the power of community to enhance the quality of life for older adults in Genesee County and beyond.

Trustee — Lorna serves as a trusted voice on the board, bringing her dedication to community well-being and her genuine care for older adults to every decision. She actively supports the center's mission to provide enriching social, educational, and wellness opportunities for members.

Trustee — Larry brings a practical and community-focused mindset to his role as Trustee. He is committed to ensuring that every member has access to the resources, activities, and support they need to thrive.
